To restore the holistic health of Queer people of color, by advocating for resources and providing programming that raises the quality of service, quality of life, and life expectancy of QPOC who are HIV probable, HIV positive, housing insecure, food insecure, and afflicted by other social determinants of health.
We are pleased to announce an impactful event, the D-Up Dinner and Discussion, hosted by the School of Opulence in collaboration with ViiV Healthcare and the South Side Help Center. This exclusive gathering is designed to foster awareness and dialogue around healthy sexual practices for queer men of color within our community.
As part of the agenda, Kimberly Ramirez-Mercado from ViiV Healthcare will present "Diary of A Virus," a compelling exploration of the realities surrounding viral infections and their impact on public health. Following her presentation, Charles Nelson from the South Side Help Center will deliver a vital D-Up presentation, equipping participants with key knowledge and resources.
This event will also provide essential health supplies for healthy sexual activity, along with HIV home testing kits, ensuring participants have access to necessary tools for their well-being.
